Now wheres that lottery ticket!

Epic isnt it.

If the euromillions came in I dont think I would even insist on a viewing. Call agent. 'Ill take it'. Job done biggrin
Wow - not sure how I'd uproot the family, but uprooted they would be!

It looks great and the grounds are near perfect, but look at the floor plan's. You have to go through rooms to get to rooms which is not actually that fun to live with. There are no linking corridors
I did notice. Its actually quite a strange layout. The 'main house' is seperated from (what I can tell) the barn style bit with no internal access. I think you would have to go outside to get to it?

However - dont care in the slightest! biggrin

for rather less (under £3M)
Price has dropped from 3.85M to 2.9M in a little over 6 months. That's one hell of a drop in anyone's money. It also makes me think that buying 'unique' high-end houses must be a bit of a mine-field; how do you value something like that? Are they massively overvalued to start with so that they can look like a bargin after a big drop or are the agents that bad at valuing them? Also, how many suckers out there have rushed out to buy something and paid the pre-massive-drop-price?

Awesome.

Change the interior decor a little and that is the definition of a perfect house.

I was within 5 miles of that a couple of weeks ago. Whilst Beauly as a small town is a bit of a dump, the further you do into the Highlands the better it gets. I just check last nights Euromillions. I didn't win.

Amazingly stunning - definite on my list after Friday. The area is stunning too - have spent a while around Kinloss/Lossiemouth, and love it there.

No pool though? I wonder how much it would be to run that house?

For £1.35m I'd either want a whole house, or a decent London flat. That isn't either.

Stunning but for 15mil i'd go more remote and get more land, 550 ish is nice but for the money i'd be happy with a less grand house but 1000's of acres.....but then again i'd just love the solitude and being able to spend all day wondering round my own land.

I shoot at a local estate at home (used to work there) and even 600 odd acres feels a bit limited when you've walked it with a gun a few times!

Would 23,000 acres of Wales be enough? - http://search.knightfrank.com/cho100185

That's been for sale since at least 2010 and the price hasn't changed since then. Currently belongs to Severn Trent Water I believe

Wrong (Swindon) side of Marlborough for that price tag. Lived in the area for 10 years and places on the main line into the smoke fetch those prices (Bedwyn area for instance), but that's too far from any stations for the price tag. Still a nice place to live though.
