Absolute beauty of a house down on the Solent. I would be very happy here indeed....

very nice, love the library and some of the details in the other pics
I think that is the house referred to in an anecdote in Chris Evan's autobiography.

He popped into the estate agent interested in the house, but wasn't allowed a brochure.

When the estate agent realised who he had been rude to, he chased him down the street apologising.
I'm reliably informed that Chris Evans was indeed interested in this house. The EA mistake also made it into the Romsey Advertiser before Christmas, but I'm sure I also read it in 1 part of his 2 book autobiography.

Decorating with something other than a job lot of B&Q Value Brilliant White emulsion would make it a damn sight nicer to live in.

I like this place, it's the old Monty Python studio and it's got fantastic character, on the inside at least.

I'm assuming the price he paid for the pool table (pic 16) was the all red Smeg-esque master bed (pic 9).

That was a trade not to have lost...

Seriously cool. But for that money I would be looking for a house in the Elsworthy conservation area on the other side of the park/near P-Hill.

Prescott hillclimb is one of my favourite places in the UK so this gets a  from me yes

Although I would start by redoing the rather bland kitchen.

Not just bland, but the size of something you would typically see in a 3-bed semi - single hob, single oven, etc, etc. Lovely otherwise - a bit of updating here and there would make it very special.

£3m and no garage, not even the ubiquitous oak car port hehe
I'd tell them to chuck in the adjoining stable block for starters...

The front of the house isn't much to look at but it's got a jolly nice back garden.

It's a pity what they've done to the interiors as otherwise it's ostensibly a decent looking house from the outside. Whether it's ever worth over a million pounds is another matter...

that is lovely. I'd just keep a 911 somewhere on the mainland (is that how you would refer to it from guernsey?) and a chopper to get me to and from.
