Well I had a really nice back garden in the Cotswolds, this being a part of it

Now I have bugger all, as I live in a forest.

You'll regret that when these fellas turn up......just remember the only thing to repel a PistonHeader is building wind turbine on your front lawn...like Crosses to Vampires hehe

Heres Mine! smile

From over the road facing up the garden

Looking back over the road towards the fields

from the other end of the house looking down towards the road

other side of the house

Then heading up the 3/4 of an acre up the back
Look in the foreground, theres a rockery and a BBq thingy hiding there

Land goes ALLLLLL the way up to the green tree at the back, you can see it sticking out above next doors house

needs alot of work, but we will get there, hoping to get the bbq area sorted, and get all the back land bit back to grass, and maybe a summer house and a play area thingy for the lil un when he's older!

Ours..
The decking gets covered in birdst

The playhouse gets covered in splashed mud when it rains...

The lawn has no moisture because of the trees...

This bugga, God knows what's going on with it...
The block patio is a haven for a zillion ants...

This bit...
And this bit cause a constant mess of leaves, branches, sap, and god know what else...[

And the bloody puppy has chewed through both goal nets!
Sorry if that's too many, I got on a bit of a roll with the pitfalls!

Pub in back garden = win.

If it had an xbox and a bed I don't think I would ever go in the house beer

Here's mine that we did a couple of years ago, to give you an idea you an idea you can just see a 6ft fence panel in the rear right corner of the deck!
I'm planning a decked area at the moment, and I like the way the raised flower bed looks - out of interest, how is that lined? I presume it isn't just a timber frame with external decking boards as I would think the wet soil would rot that through pretty quickly... does it have pond liner or something inside? Or am I making it too complicated wink

Spent a couple of days this weekend tidying our garden, getting it ready for winter. Even though it was an overcast day I thought this shot came out well for late October. smile
