Well as this thread has been resurrected......

Needs plenty of work but I haven't the time to do anything other than mow the lawn.

Did a bit of tidying in the garden over the weekend, so it's looking good:

Here's the garden of our new house, nothing really in it and we can't decide what to do with it, interesting creepy Wendy house in the corner and I can't complain about the views over the back fence.

Maybe a bit limited, i can't even stand up in it! The joys of selling up in Bershire and moving to Camridgeshire means we already have a cinema room, gym and games room inside and the workshop is something like 9m long.

Oh no, I wasn't expecting you to use the exsisting spooky building! More a idea placement and develop!

How are you finding this neck of the woods?

It's all we hoped for, we had a 2 bed mid terrace down South and a gigantic five bed house up here for less money, makes no sense. My wife got a well paid job in Cambridge, I got made redundant down south and at the moment i don't need to work. Life is pretty good and a lot quieter up here.

Here's my "before" - garden as it was when I bought the house

And now ( well, a few months ago )

And indoors was even worse! Kitchen consisted of just hot and cold pipes, nothing else ( no cupboards, tiles or anything!), threadbare carpet in every room, heavy embossed wallpaper everywhere, that had had several coats of emulsion in hideous colours over the top ( but many years ago- it hadn't been decorated in over 15 years ) Owned not by an old granny, but a couple in their 30's!
