Jo is just ONE of my friends who wants a small dog park. I know many people who want this. Please explain how is that 'daft'?

I also know 4 women who have been either flashed at or approached by weird men, one is a dog walker and she was followed and stalked where she walks and he took her number from her van and started making pest calls, another one was grabbed as she walked her dogs alone. Thats daft to feel frightened and vulnerable after this happens is it?

Many women out walking with their dogs, particularly small ones, feel that have to stick to populated areas to be safe and often don't walk in nice woods because of this... by doing so this means they are more likely to encounter big, out of control dogs. However if you have a big dog that can protect you, you are more able to do walk in secluded areas. Please explain how is 'daft' to want to be safe?

In the USA nearly all towns have regulated members only dog parks and many of them have separate parks for small dogs and large dogs - if the idea is so 'daft' or 'extreme' please explain why is is so popular and why so many people want it here.
