The flight alone is about £500 so in total it has cost us well over £1,000 but it's worth it.

We could have gone out and brought a puppy local for less and left Zoe with sue but we grew so attached to her on those first few days, we will always have a special connection and a nice story to go with it.

Just hope she picks up the English language ok!
You'll need to learn the dog for "What the hell have you done it was at least sunny at Sues what's this st?"

What a lovely story, well done to you for taking the time to look after the little soul when you were there AND following through to make sure she was properly taken care of.

Really great to see smile I remember my very fist holiday ever was to Kos an I spent the entire time in tears at all the little starving and sick cats who were beaten out of restaurants with sticks if they came around to beg for food. They don't seem to have much repect at all out there.

Will look forward to hearing how she gets on - I bet you can't wait for her to arrive! smile

Muscle relaxant should help. And a partner with small hands.

I was quite suprised actually, we didn't really see any strays while we were there, not sure if that is a good thing or not though!

You know when you get those waves of goosebumps? Don't think I've ever had so many!

Lucky, lucky Zoe. Well done, and the best of luck with her. She's lovely.

Have you booked the flight already? I own a Travel Agency and would gladly 'donate' some tickets to such good Folk.

Best,

Ali

Hello all
I am Sue from Zakynthos, the lady who has the good fortune to of met Keiran and Helen and to be looking after their little Zoe!

Zoe is such a sweet and easy puppy (now she lets me sleep through the night!) She is a delight to look after and I will miss her when she comes to England and will no doubt be needing many tissues at the airport when I do!!!

Thank you all so much for your beautiful comments. Here many think I am crazy for the work I do with the animals so its good to have some support from you guys! I think you have sent the dust over here as you all have me crying too!!

Thank you too for the offer of a ticket over for her...Zoe is one lucky puppy, I wish the others were as lucky! If you would like to send me your company info I will gladly add you as a link to our website. We have an holistic treatments center, retreats etc, based within a beautiful hotel, you may be interested in, I have many people contacting me as to how to get here!!

I have three other puppies all from different litters with similar sad stories, already passported and ready to come if anybody has a home they could offer that would be fantastic!! I have two beautiful kittens too!!!

Thanks again everybody! Love and sunshine from Zakynthos!!
Sue x x

Welcome to the friendly part of PH.

Thank you for looking after Zoe and the work you do for the other animals.

The world needs more people like you.
