Our black cat is a bit odd - clingy, vocal, licky.

Then there is the fact that She is also twice as noisy as any other cat we have had as well!!! Is Minne blind then Jeremy? Beauty's tongue is long (as you can see!) but her tail is short. She has a very loud scream, as we have heard it several times when fussing her (she doesn't like her bum being stroked, Pepi (& Bast) loves(d) it. She's been to the Vet this morning for a Hello visit - I like to get them in a few times to say hello after their injections & before neutering so they don't associate the basket & car & Vets with the pain They are happy with her, she has some sight, but not a lot. No but Jet Black like Chloe, although since losing her leg she's acquired a few White hairs in a patch on her side. I was looking at Chloe' tongue which appears every bit as long as Minnie's!

Well, I say more shouty, more randomly and conversationally shouty, Macavity is a noisy sod when he wants something and isn't getting it. Bast was the noisy one here! Constantly talking to me Pepi is learning to talk a bit more now tho! He asks for his dinner/breakfast, shouts at the birds through the window as usual but is now 'talking' to me, and to Beauty too! Albeit from the stairs He's very curious about her; keeps sniffing round the baby gate & calling to her, but she isn't showing any curiosity about him at all yet. I wish she would, I hate having her locked in the safe room! At least she doesn't cry, I'd be in there with her 24/7!!

Back to her feisty self. Out most of the day and then comes in and flops for hours. The Hopping does seem to tire her out. My Daughter was all for bringing another cat home though. This one has no front legs? She reckons it's very cute as it "hops" around like a rabbit and eats by leaning on the side of the bowl. I have asked for pics on this one.

So good to hear Minnie is doing well As for the one with no front legs... I think I'd pass I know dogs have wheels fitted to back legs and continue to have a great quality of life, but a cat? I dunno...

She is settling in beautifully Pepi still isn't sure, she growls so he will hiss, but he has really come out of his depression/shell since she arrived, which is good, and is VERY curious about her In other news, picked up Bast's ashes this morning She will be reunited with her brother tomorrow when I get back from SS.

Glad to hear all is going well and Pepi seems to be picking up, I'm sure they will become great mates.
Hope today wasn't too hard RIP Bast xx
