When I saw the title back on my page I knew who it was about straight away and knew it would be sad news.

I am so sorry for your loss, so many wonderful memories to treasure and the knowledge that you gave him the best life he could have possibly had, esp given the challenges he faced. Byebye sweet Jack I didn't know you in person but I still felt like I knew you a little bit.

Me too frown

Run free at the Bridge, Jack, and wait for your dad.

Perfectly sums up my sentiments bexVN. Rest easy Jack, you had a great life and a wonderful owner.

Indeed, my heart fell but full of hope it was someone else resurrecting this I opened.

So sorry for your loss, he was a tremendous pup x

Oh no - I had bookmarked your thread and read it over again several times.

I’m so sorry to read the latest update but I can’t help but feel that Jack struck gold when he met you. I don’t think he could have wanted for a better life than the one you gave him.

OP, sad news but Jack had a good life thanks to you, and a dignified end. Credit to you.

Thanks all, it's interesting how our dogs can bring out emotion that otherwise doesn't surface. A unique bond for sure.

I will miss him terribly, but I'm also very content knowing he is now able to rest.

Like the poster above, my heart sank when I saw this wonderful thread updated.

That's terribly sad news.... Jack was clearly such an amazing character.

You gave him a loving home and he obviously adored you. Is there more one could do for a dog? I doubt it. He had an amazing life - thanks to you.

Very sorry to hear of his passing.
