Hi Guys, could do with some advice.

We have a customer's car in in which a small rodent has clearly decided to call home. Chewed wiring and trim, droppings, nest etc.

Said rodent has showed no interest in the traps laid in footwell by customer so far, so I was wondering if there is any sort of propriety smoke treatment or such like that would persuade the mouse to leave without leaving a lasting smell behind.

I have to be brutally honest and say that the wellness of the rodent is not too high on priorities, but I also recognise that a dead rodent in the car wouldn't half raise a stink.

We do have friendly neighborhood cat that calls upon us twice daily that I am considering kidnapping for the duration, and leaving car with doors open and cat locked in in workshop overnight.

Just wondering if anyone has any more sensible solutions or has had experience of this and can advise accordingly.

Grateful for any help thumbup, thanks.

A lot of people put moth balls in the cabs of combine harvesters. Rodents are a big problem in a big machine that smells of grain, they can ruin the wiring in them. The down side is moth balls bloody stink.
