I also have that teach and treat.
Didn't last long when Snuffs realised he could just flip the thing over and knock it about for the treats to come out

Try and get plain boxes as they can get a bit of a dodgy tummy if they eat too much ink.

Always used the cardboard ones (no splinters) and picked them up by the armful from the supermarket. In retrospect I probably looked weird using 3 fruit boxes to carry one bag's worth of shopping!

mine are awkward - if i give them boxes that are too hard to destroy they just go back to trying to eat the furniture but dont if i give them thinner cardboard boxes

Costco are great for boxes, although like you say. I must look weird getting 2 boxes for 1 bottle of Ribena!

here are my 2 Reggie and Lola, looking innocent. They really are best buddies.

Missing my 2 very much at the moment, they are on holiday at Mum & Dad's as I have just got back from the isle of man Last Monday and am going to Gran canaria on Tuesday coming so the parents have been bunnysitting.

The flat feels so empty, it was very hard getting to sleep last night without being able to hear Gareth shredding cardboard & Cinders throwing her bell toys around.
Will have to go to Lancaster tomorrow to visit them

I love rabbits on leads- just so cute.

Although once my other half had Twinkle (who is tiny, despite being fully grown) on a lead, as she tried to run up the stairs.

The look on her tiny face (Twinkle, not my gf) as the lead suddenly went tight in mid air is something i'll never forget!

Any tips on how short to clip bunnies claws?
both my buns have black claws so you cant see the pink line inside, I am convinced they are far too long but I am scared of hurting them so don't want to go too short

I have this problem.
If you get a small LED torch and hold it behind, you can juuuust about make it out.

But i normally don the tips every week or so.
General rule of thumb is they should be not much longer than the fur line, but it varies.

It's much better to just take the tip off every week or two than lop a lot off in one go. On the side you can sort of see a change in colour and I tend to go for more light than dark when it comes to guessing.

Or the ultimate is to get a white rabbit, cut theirs first and match the black rabbit up with them.

He looks well relaxed, my Ronnie is like that, never a dull moment when the bugger is around. He won't think twice about having a sly nibble when your back is turned! laugh

What a dear little poppet!

My lady friend uses a similarly method to weigh her bunnies:

That's dear little Zoey, who sadly is no longer with us........ An utterly adorable little Teddyzwergkaninchen who weighed less than a kilo.

Quite adorable!

The reason Zoey was being weighed was so that she received the right dosage of Panacur to protect her from the hideous e-cuniculi virus which had caused the death of her equally lovely partner 'Buddy'.... She was utterly distraught when he had to be put to sleep, the poor little thing.
