Red has obviously bonded well with Cinders and clearly loves his new home! You were so kind to take the little chap in - is it my imagination or has he gained a little weight now?

Those bags in your last photo might prove rather a temptation to an inquisitive little bunny...or rather, to his teeth?

Hope he'll be fine after his inoculations.

I'm so glad he did, he's such a little character & has brought a ray of sunshine into my life in a very dark time.
Yeah he has gained some weight, my fault for treating him a little too much when he first came to us paperbag oops! I've got over the initial "oh my god your so cute, have a treat" phase now so they're on lots of hay, small bowl of nuggets and greens daily with the occasional Russell Rabbit carrot biscuit thrown in. Should weigh him actually now I think of it.

He is only ever in the bedroom (where the camera bag and paper bag are) when supervised, he loves being in there, he likes to lie by the window under the curtain for some reason haha

Little Red has had his 3 injections but the snotty nose is still there, although not as bad so he is going back to the vets tonight, poor little man, starting to worry that I may have been mislead/ misunderstood the reason for him losing his eye. I am wondering if this is related and will be an on going thing throughout his life

This is the extent of the wet nose, it's not as bad as a lot of the pics I have seen on google and it is clear (apart from the one bogie that ended up on his cheek after a sneezing fit one time!)

It doesn't effect him other than the sneezing fits I don't think but I do need to find out what the cause is.
He's been on the Metacam since last week but that doesn't seem to have made any difference so it looks like he will be going for a scan on Wednesday to see if there is anything up his nose causing this, obviously worried as that means anaesthetic

Some happy pics from this weekend:
That is one chilled bunny:

He loves jumping on and off the bed. He also finds it fun to sit on my head whilst I am waking up in the morning!

They found nothing with the scan, perfect teeth apparently (that's my boy!!), so they are now doing a Culture & Sensitivity test. He's in the process of waking up from anaesthetic, they can do the tests in house as they have a lab on site.

Going to pick him up at 4:30, cant wait to give him a cuddle

Little beauties, Evie is a gorgeous colour!

Red: He was a bit wobbly on his feet when I got him home and was very quiet & still (so unlike him) from the Anaesthetic. Still waiting on the results from the Culture & Sensitivity at the moment, so for now he's still on Loxicom daily until we get the results. Still a lovely hoppy little bunny & is eating so for now i'm not too worried.

The vet said Cinders was standing in the vets way whenever they went to pick Red up, bless her. She's had 12 months of vets trips and none of them have been for her, she must have had enough of vets picking up & poking her husbun's

I hope Red gets on the mend Axgizmo - are they testing him for pastuerella as that could be what his snuffles are ? (especially if xrays/scans are not showing that he's managed to get something stuck up his nose).

Evie is very cute and squidgy, however she is a hell-raiser and extreme bossy boots - her antics do make us smile but at times she does bully Abi and Sam frown

Thankyou, I will be calling the vets today as i've not heard anything regarding the results yet. The first treatment he had was for pasturella (the Antibiotic injections) but it didn't seem to improve after 3 injections so the vet wanted to try something else (the Metacam). I wasn't convinced as to whether 3 injections was enough but I couldn't get an appointment with the original vet (My bunny savvy, rabbit owning vet who only works 1 day a week!!) so had to settle for another one.

For some reason when we come home after nights the rabbits go bonkers 5:30am. I missed most of it but here is fetch playing on my chair.

Video a bit dark I'll see if I can edit it.

I've seen a few bunnies in the bottom corner of the garden so re-positioned one of my Arlo cameras on motion sensing mode and sat back and waited in anticipation for the little fluffy cherubs to appear,

Only took about 5 minutes and my email notification popped up smile

Bazza: Mine have the same "love den" and stick their faces out like that, never managed to snap it though haha.

Lotus: Brilliant laugh

Red:
so I got a call back to say they knew which Anti-Biotics to put Red on but it wasn't one they had in stock so I had to wait an extra few days but finally got them. He hates the taste, it stinks of banana.
I have been having a very stressful week having to chase him round, corner him, pick him up and force it down his throat after bunny burrito'ing him (twice a day!). What makes it more annoying is that he loved the Metacam and took that like a treat, I am losing the will to live and hate that he is getting stressed about it (being chased & picked up). Poor little fella, I have tried injecting it into bread & pineapple but he's not stupid, it has a really strong smell, so he's been going and nicking Cinders treats instead banghead
Any other suggestions would be gratefully received, I am going to try putting it in Pineapple juice or Apple juice tonight. They don't eat the stalks of leaves so I cant inject it in there.

As my fella is over in the Isle Of Man competing in the Southern 100 (and I couldn't go because of work frown) I have been leaving the bedroom door open so the rabbits have full run of the flat. This is how I get woken up every morning now haha (obviously this particular video was taken whilst my fella was at home haha)

Custard creams, ginger nut (creams) etc are a great treat for ours, so if you could somehow get it into them?
Carrots, kale, broccoli, spinach etc, don't know how you'd incorporate it so he ate it without knowing though.
Can't think of much else frown
