Electrical tape used to be got through in huge quantities in this house. That and hosepipe- get the cheapest you can, slit it, pop the cable in and then electrical tape up. Works a treat!

The rabbit free ness has lasted 4 days. I'm going to volunteer at the rescue to get the cuddles in.
I did wonder how I could protect the cables. We're having some building work done at the minute and the rabbits are in the spare bedroom and we found out last night Holly had managed to jump on the bed and chewed through my girlfriends GHD cables but only slightly so a bit of electricians tape should do the trick. This week our house is an utter tip as for the first time in nearly a decade I have left everything on the floor and it hasn't been destroyed.

The rabbit free ness has lasted 4 days. I'm going to volunteer at the rescue to get the cuddles in.
I may have to try the hose pipe idea though!

So, I accidentally left the foot stool by the rabbit pen, Frank saw his opportunity and took it!
I was lying in bed and was lying on my side putting my phone on charge and I felt movement on the bed, I didn't think anything of it as I have felt that a few times at night since Little Red died
I roll onto my back, iPad in hand ready to stick a film on and there he was, the devil bunny. Stood with his front paws on my tummy looking at me as if to say "Look what I did mummy".

In my experience the boys are always the cheeky/exploring ones.
As we have building work downstairs my brother has ours in the bedroom. They absolutely love the bed. Binky's galore and laps around the bed.
They did have their annual trip to mum and dad's, my dad's attitude they will be fine let them have a run around the house, he learnt his lesson when one of them went through the sky lead during a f1 race.

Well all of the luck we stole from you lot is about to run out. Unfortunately, following abcesses in both of Jessicas front feet and weeks of medication/vet trips the bone is now infected on both feet.
So it's now a matter of if, not when. We've had a fantastic 3 years out of her and rescued her from a family of a
holes who probably should have been reported (why bother...!?) so I don't think she would have survived much passed 5 if she stayed with them. Won't make it any easier, though.
But when her life becomes more bad times than good times we'll be getting her put down
Could be a week, could be 3 or 4. Was hoping to get her back to England in Feb (we are in Gibraltar temporarily) but that's not to be.
A few weeks of tears seems a small price to pay for 3 years of Jessica. We will miss her a lot

Hi guys,
I'm after some ideas from you all. We've just had a new kitchen fitted and don't really want to bring the 1.2 meter cage down to put in the kitchen. It was only used for the buns hay, water, litter tray and a general chill out. We have put their litter tray out and water in a bowl but at the minute their hay is just on the floor making an absolute mess. I was just wondering if anyone has come up with a god way of keeping it contained in something and in a way so we can fill it up and leave it while we're at work and not have to worry about them running low.
Anyone had a similar problem and found a solution?

Really like that above. We have a large cat litter tray.
Usually wood pellets, but while Jessica has had poorly feet it's been sawdust to make it easier on her jumping in and out.
Thanks for all the kind words regarding Jessica. I haven't been ready to see her go until this morning, but she's getting lumps of poo stuck to her bum and she smells of wee so it has now got to the point where it's not fair on her anymore.
Keeping her alive any longer would only be to our advantage.
We will miss her a lot, me especially...!

We used a hay cage like the above, the boys went nuts and ripped the hay out and spread it everywhere.
We use one of these, wood pellets in one corner hay in another, big enough for them both to get in. They seem to know which end to do the business in which was a previous problem.
