Thanks very much.
Obviously, I was a complete mess. I'm all cried out and my eyes are hurting!
The emptiness of not having her around when we got home is just the worst.
It's very unpleasant to think that when I posted that photo above she was alive frown

It is a terrible feeling. My little boy passed just over six weeks ago and I am still missing him like mad. People that don't own rabbits, don't get it when they pass, they can't imagine how a little bunny can have such an impact on your life. Little things like watching where you walk incase they are there, looking for them in the house, all of that brings back memories and makes you feel really down about it. They are awesome little pets and loved my two more than I thought possible.

Oh god so sorry about the smiley face. I have NO idea where it came from.

I lost one of my rabbits in march and TBh it's still fairly raw, not helped I had him from a Baba right up to his death 10 years later. :-(:-(

We have a poorly rabbit here. Didn't eat his pellets this morning and now just hiding in his cardboard box. I'm hoping it's just a off day which they seem to have every now and then. The other rabbit fetch is happy as Larry and loving more strokes as he's not getting affection off his brother.

Will keep an eye on him. Hopefully no Christmas visit to the vet. frown

Just put him on a hay and a bit of veg diet for a day or so, best thing for them is hay.

Yeah, decent quality hay is the 100% constant rabbits should have.
Then decent veg, and some nuggets every now and again ours get for a treat (probably ever other day).
If there's one lesson I could teach other people that I have learned, is that don't wait until something is seriously wrong before going to the vets.
It's better to have had a wasted trip and the vet to find nothing wrong than too wait too long and miss something.
Look for the absence of the normal, the presence of the abnormal.

Hay is their main diet. A small amount of pellets in the morning not much then they have fresh veg.

Their weight is bang on and they eat loads of fresh hay so we're not over doing the pellets.

Dusty is not to good again, took him to the vets this morning and they think it's gut stasis again. we let him in he garden yesterday for half hour so think it must have been something he eat out there but apart from grass and moss there isn't much to eat and we didn't see him eating.had work jabs and we're nursing at home as much as we can.

Fetch knows something is up with his brother he's nervous as heck. frown

Dusty is back on his feet this morning clap, 2 trips to the vet and a third book for this morning. Vet thinks there may be an ongoing issue with his gut and want to investigate a bit more when fully recovered.

He's a bit weak but eating again slowly and drinking. My stress levels have also dropped headache

So after a long time considering buying one, I decided to treat the buns to a cardboard castle. If losing Red far too early taught me one thing, its that life is short and I wish I had got one of these months ago.

There was a bit of investigating going on...

Then there was some redesigning (Obviously):

Vid of it in good use - There is music to disguise the sound of children lol!:

Then they decided to go back to the free box which came with some Christmas pressies in haha

They have now come to see it as part of the furniture and I was able to throw away the presents box laugh, their own little space away from the hoomins. They are so adorable, they absolutely love it. Would 100% recommend these for indoor buns.

I got one for ours Christmas before last they loved it. Lasted around 2 weeks. Christmas just gone I was tempted to get another but instead I just taped 3 boxes together and cut holes in it. They were just as pleased.

I'm amazed this one has lasted so far, although frank does keep chewing the ceiling on the ground floor, so the first floor could collapse at any time. I do have spare cardboard to carry out any "home improvements" as required laugh

I always worry about the buns eating glue and tape on boxes so i'm not keen on giving them too often. It is a better option money wise though.
