The last week or so have been rather unpleasant, it became more and more apparent that Gareth needed a new friend, he started to pull his fur again and was aggressive with anyone (other than me) who approached him, not ideal as he is a house bunny so visitors always go to say hello to him before sitting down.

So I dropped him off at the rescue centre yesterday, I just called to see how he is getting on and they tell me he has taken a shine to a little lady called Cinder

Feel so guilty for doing this so quickly as I miss Terri every day, but I just want him to be happy and he clearly can't be happy on his own anymore frown

Micky, our house (well conservatory bunny really, but he's in the bedroom behind me at the moment, 'cos it's cold) lost his companion in the summer, but we think he's too old to go through all the bonding stuff again. He's at least 6, and although he's docile with us, he took two months to bond last time, involving much fur pulling (on both sides) so he's just got us for company now.

Going from 2 buns, to 1 bun, to 0 buns has been horrible. Missed him so much, cant wait to have him home.

Just coming to the end of looking after our neighbour's 2 rabbits, 9 months and we have fallen for them. They are garden rabbits so out In the day and locked up at dusk. We get on great with next door so have a gate between our back gardens so the rabbits run between 2 gardens as they plead.

I never thought about rabbits tbh but they have their own peronalities and so funny. I'm Going to miss them.

I'd be lost without my 2, they make you chuckle with some of their antics. The older of the 2 is more docile, she'll come to be picked up for a cuddle, the younger one is a bit skittish. She'll only let me pick her up as I bathe her quite regularly as she has a habit of lying in soft faeces and letting it stick to her undercarriage - the dirty moo!

I was told to leave them to settle in for a day or two when I first got them home before giving them run of the living room so they have been confined to the cage and run for the last 3 days.
She is a bit of a scared bun when it comes to people, she is absolutely besotted with Gareth, he moves, she moves but when I go anywhere near she goes to her 'safe place' (the cage), Gareth is back to his old self, happy bun again smile

Sorry for the rubbish pics, she is black and indoors! Will try to get some decent pics of her with the proper Camera this weekend smile

Bless her. She'll come out of her shell eventually. Having Gareth around will improve her confidence too.

When we first got Coco she would wet herself if you went to pick her up. Now she runs up to you and bites your toes when you're sat on the sofa and then binky off.

Hey fatty boom boom.

hehe. Cute rabbit redface) remind me of when I took in a rescue bunny and she needed a diet. Do love the sort of double chin thing they get when they get porky.

Its like a built in pillow. Tbh I thought the chin was to them getting fat but found out its because they are females. The brown one is slim and still has it.

They both eat the same but they grey one is just lazy, either chilled out or eating grass.

Less pellets and more dandelion hay along with being out 10 hours a day seems to have worked, they eat tons of grass though.

Sad to hear, looked a smashing rabbit.

It is amazing how fast they go from being A1 to dead, though, isn't it? We've had three (all females) go from fine to dead in a day.

Awww no frown Sorry to hear that Bazza

Cinders settled in nicely, her and Gareth are very loved up, he goes for a wander, she follows.
It is lovely to see as I honestly thought he wouldn't take to another bun when I lost Terri. So good to see him happy again <3
