Do love the sort of double chin thing they get when they get porky.
Its like a built in pillow. Tbh I thought the chin was to them getting fat but found out its because they are females. The brown one is slim and still has it.
the extra chin is called a "dewlap" and is perfectly normal on female rabbits, and provides a handy area to pull furr from when nesting!!

Aaaw great thread, such cute bunnies! I am definitely now a mad bunny lady and not cat lady now! Got Mr Fluffy (original I know!) Rescued from stew last year, he is Albino, completely deaf and not great vision wise either. Hoping to get a whole pen area for him outside and some friends too soon.

I always wanted to post a pic of my daughters rabbit, Alfie, but yesterday he was PTS due to heart failure. He was a real character friendly, wilful and quite licky. The vets did their very best but it wasn't to be. So I present Alfie when he went, there was much dust in our eyes.

He was one of a kind. Always had issues with his teeth(grew spikey) so likely the heart issues was to do with inbreeding etc. He was a nutter used to chomp an egg box in half, and I swear he cut out eye holes, so he could run around his hutch/run with it on his head.

I used to cut a couple of small holes in an egg box and put some pellets in for mine - throwing it around and getting the pellets out used to keep them occupied for ages!

Here's my sister with two of our rabbits. A Flemish giant cross and a 12 week old baby Continental. As you can see, they are very pampered. My sister is recovering from leukemia, you might like to visit her blog at: emilyevaalice.blogspot.co.uk/2014/01/goodbye-hair.html

Love the first picture, reminds me of one of our now sadly departed does, Suki. She was a huge Elton John fan.

Every time he came on MTV or whatever, she'd come running up to the tv, watch and listen, then go back to doing whatever she'd been doing when he finished.

We had his 60th birthday party concert from Madison Square Gardens on just for her. She watched the whole thing, except for the adverts, when she went back to Slippy. About 2/3 of the way through, I thought "I don't reckon much to this song" and looked at Suki and she was cleaning herself! IIRC, the next song was "Saturday Nights alright for Fighting", and there she was, back glued to the screen!

Have no idea how i missed this thread, but have gone from having two beautiful rescue bunnies for the last seven years to both of them passing away in the last three months.Came back our hols on Saturday and went to pick up our boy from boarding, noticed he was not himself right away, Vets on Monday where they discovered massive tumour behind his heart, sat on my knee for the last 15 minutes of his life while i cried my eyes out and have continued to since.RIP Ash,miss you.
