Took Ella out for a walk after work today to the local woods and spotted this on the entrance.

Apparently its quite a problem around here at the moment, so be on your guard in the midlands people.

Happens round here (Surrey) around the time the Derby (and associated 'travellers') visit the area.

The pie keys wait for reward notices to be posted - apparently £500 is the going rate - then phone up and claim.

Dogs get stolen now and again but that is prompted by internet scare mongering

Whilst I think the majority of it is internet scare-mongering, it has made me think twice about tying the dog up outside the shop whilst I nip in for a moment.

The thought of my dog being used for fighting horrifies me, he's the softest dog i've ever met.

Interesting, I didn't know about the gate stickers, I will deffo be keeping an eye out for this.

I think there is definitely an increase in dog thefts as I have heard about it a lot in the last year or so and someone I know personally had their husky stolen a few months ago, I don't see it as scare mongering I see it as useful information!
