Good to see Jasper is doing so well, I still can't read my thread that Ali posted above without crying. Poor little mites have been through so much but they just keep on.

Jenson took forever to heal and if he didn't have such an amazing vet and me the support of this forum, I think we would have both given up.

Jenson stays much closer to home now and you rarely see him cross a road but he seems happy, apart from a constant scabby bum for done reason.

Tough little creatures we have smile

Indeed they are and they don't feel sorry for themselves.
It'll be a while until his fur has grown back but I think he'll be ok in the long run.
We've got one of his litter mates and 2 older ones and they all get along ok.

Good to hear he is going the right way, having been through similar.
One of ours had back end damage when he was three (lost the fight with the car and fractured pelvis, dislocated hip etc). Made it to nineteen but with a near daily dose of liquid paraffin and a human laxative to help him keep regular. All under control of the vet I should add. Also recuperated in a cage for six months and a house move to boot, in the cage.
