As a pet sitter/dog walker, my charges vary depending on the level of work/time involved. For example, hamster and rabbit 'sitting' is £5 a visit as they don't really require much human company. Feeding a cat and cleaning out the litter tray every few days would probably be charged at £7.50 a visit as the cats usually require some petting and interaction which takes up some time. It depends on the needs of the cat and how the owner wants their cat looked after. When I stay in people's houses to look after their pets, I usually charge £30 a day.
