All,

Looking for a chicken coop or suitable rabbit hutch (suitable = larger enclosed areas opposed to mostly open caged).

Let me know. Can collect but wouldn't mind adding a fiver on top for fuel for delivery.

Hertfordshire based.

Thanks, H

There are loads of designs available on t'intenet, and only a couple of basic things to get right - making sure the roosting perches are above the level of the nest boxes etc.

Be wary of being tempted by cheapo Chinese poultry houses, they fall apart very quickly, and if you have a fox or badger problem they'll tear their way into a flimsy coop in very short time.

Admittedly they are not cheap, but I can heartily recommend the stuff from Flyte So Fancy - www.flytesofancy.co.uk

Bit small and poorly ventilated? Ok for just a couple of hens, but you need to be careful they don't overheat. Easy to keep clean, though.
