Utter rubbish.
I was fishing a lake for 3 days and on the 1st day spotted a goose with a wing that was dragging behind it. As a result, he couldn't fly and when he was walking on the bank, it was dragging and pulling feathers out.
I phoned them up and they said someone was on their way. No one showed up.
Phoned the second day and was told the same and no-one showed up.
On the 3rd day, I rang a local bird sanctuary run by volunteers and within 20 mins or so, someone arrived and took the bird away.
