Haha true. I look at it more like encouragement/agreement than train.

He does what he wants, and nothing more.

He's very good off the lead with me, but I put that down to the fact that he can't be bothered to run away and only likes short walks

Our old bulldog needs ointment applying to a sore on his leg first thing in the morning. He is invariably lying on the leg that needs treating, so I flip him on his back just like this to apply the goo.

I then go off and make my breakfast and he is frequently sound asleep in the "spatchcock" position I left him in, some 20 minutes later.

Oh yes, I put a photo in the other thread like this.

Unlike most other dogs, I think they are pretty stable in this position, and actually seem to quite like it.

I think this must be a default setting for bull breeds,my staffy does the same, and there's a thread on here about a mini EBT that upside down stretched out.

We're off to see a7 month old bh tomorrow with the intention of rescuing her. She's been neglected and has a bad skin infection which will need daily treatment for months. We just need to make sure that it won't spread to tank (who's currently dreaming and kicking me in bed) so fingers crossed he'll have a girlfriend tomorrow.

Struggling with names though.... Any thoughts?!

Just realised PH has a pets forum! After about 7yrs.
Here's ours, exactly as others have said, runs to her bed at the mention of walkies. Brill dog but she did awake in a rage once whilst sleeping on the sofa with me and ripped my nose wide open, almost had her put down but the vets thinks it was a bad dream and poor luck. She does not sleep near me now but we are pals again.

Our other ones a pug chiwowa cross and loves walks.

Both get loads of attention from the latest addition..

Not bad, I like it. I'll put it to Mrs C.

Well, wee looked at her, and bless her, she is a mess. Has about 50% of her coat as the rest has gone due to a terrible skin condition. This was due to being totally neglected, and left exposed to the sun (we live in Dubai). She also has a few sores, requires daily injections and bathing every 2 days.
This is fine, we don't care about any of this, the problem could be tank. I'll start a new post re that!
All going to plan, we'll pick her up on Thursday.

Ahhh, bless her. I'm sure the nose thing was an accident. Tank often bikes/punches me, but as soon as I start whimpering or even crying, he comes running to see if I'm ok and is all over me trying to apologise!

She's gorgeous by the way!

Meet Mrs Tank...or Mildred as she is now known.
She is an 8 month old British Bulldog, who has known nothing but neglect and suffering. She has been left to rot in a yard somewhere and exposed to the heat of Dubai. As a result her coat and skin are awful but we are getting that sorted and in a few months fingers crossed she'll make a full recovery. Weight wise she is a little thin, but that won't take long to rectify!
Although she has had a sh!t start in life, she is so loving. All she wants is hugs and cuddles, and she's getting plenty of them!
Here she is...

That first picture, I just know all her legs are wiggling at once while she's being made to hold still.

Tank really wasn't impressed at first, but he has started to play with her...well, when I say play he bolts towards her and tries to carry her around by one of her rear legs!

We have another problem though....the day after we got her, Mrs C's friend texted over a picture of another Bully who needs a home. He is massive but gorgeous....right up Tanks street. We couldn't have 3 though.....could we??!!
