Leonberger passed away :(

Hi all
Got a message from my dad this morning say Apollo our Leonberger had passed away in his sleep.
He was not acting himself yesterday, so took him to the vets for some blood tests and antibiotics. Let him out for the toilet at 01.30am, and dad went back at 04.30am and he had passed away frown

He he was with Zeus, our previous GSD who was 14 before had to be put to sleep.

sorry to hear that matey, of all the ways to go though, far better than having to make the decision for them, he looked a hell of lad, gorgeous!

Leon's are such a gorgeous (and huge!!) breed, true gentle giants.

Sorry to hear this mate. Take comfort from the fact that he passed quietly in his sleep at home.

So sorry for your loss. I'm generally a cat person but leonbergers really get under your skin. He was a very handsome boy and such a great "Magnum PI" name x
