What a super looking old chap. Looks like he's still enjoying life to the full smile
Thank you...we love him dearly and appreciate time is running out...He has cataracts forming and shows his age in other ways....
He's a lovely looking dog.....Smooth haired fox terrier or SHFT cross?
Pedigree SFT thanks.....altho breed std dictates dropped ears not pricked.....
His litter sister was BOB Crufts a few years back - hes the last surviving member of his litter.

Thought so, very distinctive lines.
smile

I've seen them with pricked up ears before, great dogs.

He's bottom of the pecking order, very submissive...the chicken and cat boss him about.

Yeah Belgians are a bonkers lot. Malinois especially are the loony ones in the family. I have a couple of friends with them. Would suggest speaking to a few owners before you dive in with one as they really can be a handful.
Starting researching now for hopefully at least 4yrs time. I do obedience and agility and have seen a few so will start asking around.
I have had border collies all my life so am used to energy and intelligence, but the Mali seems to be on a whole other level!
Was out wit my friend with a Mali yesterday. She confirmed its got more energy and is more of a live wire than her Terv and Groen.

As an example my Terv did an 11 mile run yesterday morning (that makes it to 25 miles since Friday afternoon) followed by a visit to the full house at the in laws to see their dog and the sis in laws baby, home for lunch and the dog was bringing us toys as we sat in the garden. 5.30 and off we go out again for another 1.5 mile walk with a bit of ball chasing and she is still firing around like flubber. Settled down about 6.45. then at 10pm as I'm struggling to stay awake she goes and raids her toy box and brings me something to play with. I'm sure Arden Grange must be mixing crack into their kibble.

How do you make a living? sounds great living on a boat, but getting to the office must be a pain?

I'm a private investigator working for a small company as & when work comes up. I also have income from a rental property. It costs surprisingly little to live on a boat!

Dusty, 5 year old Golden Retriever. Loves mud, water, and balls. He's amazing and a massive part of the family. A loyaler dog you won't find.

Thanks, Sam is a Springador (Springer x Lab).
Casey's first day has been very good...all getting on well although the cat doesn't know what to make of him.

Lots of fun, lots of sleeping.
