Just reminds me of a dog argument in our local park some months ago when one found a dead squirrel. One could imagine the "conversation:"

"This is my dead squirrel"

"No its not its my dead squirrel"

"This is MY dead squirrel. You want a dead squirrel? Then go and find your own dead squirrel. This is my dead squirrel"

And so on...

Reminded me of my grandparents almost 2 year old St Bernard... found a dead rabbit when out for a walkies.
What do you think he did?

A) Sniff it and move on,
B) Sniff it, pick it up and bring it back to master
or
C) Eat it... all of it fur, bones, brains, eyes an all

I'll give you a clue... he has a very strong stomach and suffered no ill effects at all yuck

Yeah he's still around.

Still very restricted on his excercise so not many pictures lately. Let him have a bit of an explore with no running for 5 minutes then back on the lead.

He's lame.

Apparently quite comon for these dogs to get injuries due to being boisterous and being fearless (stupid)

He apparently fractured a bone in his leg near the should which has healed but grown more bone over the fracture restricting his shoulder movement.

He's had two months of 10 minutes walks a day mostly on the lead because if we let him off he generally goes bonkers. I let him off about a month ago to paddle In some water because it was hot and he ran about like a mad thing.

For such an active dog it's horrible for him and us.

Booked into vet later this week to see progresspossible further treatment, hydrotherapy or possible operation frown
