Broke out my old film SLR and loaded it up, dogs are perfect photographic test subjects!

Here's Gracie the Gordon Setter.

EDIT - It helps if I actually link to the photo... haha

Sorry to hear this. frown

She's running pain free with all the other dogs over the bridge now though.
Rest in peace Bonnie.
Thanks all.

Sad about the dogs passing on, one of our family ones is on his way out and I'm dreading the day frown

On a lighter note few new pics of Summer from our race today (managed 2nd smile ) apologies for my ugly mug appearing.

Was a nice setting

not wading through mud for a change.

Most of the route was around Stowe gardens

She was actually giving me a bit of pull for once, think she was showing off to her breeder who was watching, and competing in another discipline with Summer's mother.

You wouldnt think she had just run 6 miles

With Mum on the right. Been 2 years since they last met up. She got to meet her little sister for the first time today too.

Having a snooze on the way home

Sooo cant be comfortable

Woke up when we got home but looks bksed.

That would have been more enjoyable around Stowe had the weather been better. I visited Stowe earlier in the year and it is a lovely place. Renovation done in the house looked amazing. Summer is lovely btw.

ah it was ok today, chilly but not too cold and the autumn colours were nice. Might go back there for a wander on a nicer day with the family and have a proper look around the house etc.

Billy was sniffing around the bedroom and he'd gone quiet for a bit, so I went looking....

This is the 'dad, I tried to climb the cat post and now I'm stuck' face.

He's a Muppet sometimes.

How do dogs react when they see one of their parents (or siblings) after a long break?

Lucky had a similar face (with comedy whimpers) when she got stuck on the garage roof!

First time I reunited mine with her mum and littler sister they all acted as strangers, little bit wary of each other then ok. (normal for the breed) That was after 2 years.

Another 2 years later met up with the mum and a younger sister (from the following litter) and same again.

Didnt seem to have any memory of previous meeting or any family ties.

Remembers my sisters dog but they see eachother 5-6 times a year.

Nero's getting bigger, i'm staggered how much he's grown and changed in just a week. He's sleeping well without any wimpering now, his mouthing is getting more under control as he learns his boundaries and he's even tried to climb the stairs which gave us a panic.

Just to add this because it made me laugh.
