^^^^ Bull breeds tend to be lazy, Daisy; my Franchie is so not a morning dog, she can be mental, however she tires very quickly and can be extremely lazy, particularly when the wife isn't working; she'll come down for her morning wee, just before I leave for work, then she'll go back upstairs, under the covers and won't move again until she's turfed off the bed.
Yes that all sounds very familiar. Frankie won't even get up for a morning pee though. I make her go outside some days as I think she must need to go!
She has very low stamina, she will play with other dogs running around and jumping about etc, but 10 minutes and she is worn out and has a rest
Walks are strange too. She will often refuse to go or walk a short distance then insist we head back, and if i clip her lead on and try to encourage her she just digs her feet in pulling back. She is more keen if we are somewhere she hasn't been before though.

Yep, we have just added a new addition to the family; Barry, he is a 8.5 week old Yorkshire Terrier/Jack Russell cross, 20 minutes of the two of them playing and Daisy is wrecked. Taken this morning.
Did I mention that he's 12 1/2 already? I think I might have done, once or twice
He's still going strong, lovely boy!
Don't you just love old Dogs who don't know they're old.Did I mention that he's 12 1/2 already? I think I might have done, once or twice

Nice to see he hasn't got a lot of weight on him I think its the key to an active old age in Dogs.

The other evening he did a proper mental running around the garden and driveway thing for a good five minutes, just like he always used to in his younger years. Poor bugger then thought 'just a minute, I'm nearly 90 years old', and flaked out in his basket
We have had Sally our wonderful Springer since April and every second with her has been brilliant! Having got her used to some open spaces you can almost hear her laughing as she runs.
Sally and Poppy, our older Collie Cross (14) get on so well and it's good for both of them.
I look at this and hear Poppy say. 'I'm a good girl, I walked round the puddles'
Sally.....'puddles? What puddles?'
