Barry chilling on a sleeping Daisy.

Very cute!

Dogs do enjoy another companion dog in their lives.

GSD's are my Nemesis, I have adored them since I was knee high to a grasshopper. However Both the ones I took on I let down and Struggled to train properly ( My fault not theirs ).

Oh forgot to say Gorgeous Photo.

What has been so impressive about him is we took him on as a very sick puppy who had 2 hours squirts 24/7 and a host of bugs and viruses yet he was never a sickly little boy and always asked to go outside.
He has dominated our two other GS both of whom are not shrinking wallflowers so yes he has stolen everyones hearts and is spoilt silly but is responding very very well to training

Another gsd here, though we were told he was half belgian half german shepard, we took him in fully grown and quite a bit overweight, plus being a long haired double coated boy he looked even more enormous! Managed to shift alot of weight off of him, though after a bad leg injury last year (to me not him) he put a little back on. Heres the obligatory pic of my best mate scout..

He looks like a good lad and yes they do become your best mate don't they.
I lost my beloved Bullmastiff last year and thought I could never find another Dog like him to be a companion but this little guy is special and he is one of three GSD we have now

Think we got pretty lucky with him really. He came from a family with young kids so Is fantastic when kids are about, my toddler niece pulls him around the house with his pull ropes! He is pretty well trained, I can have him walk to heel off lead, his recall is excellent. He gets on with other dogs, is fine with our elderly Yorkie and cat though will chase other cats out of the garden. He must be about 4 years old now and we have had him about a year and a half. His only downsides are his weight (which is mostly sorted now, his hair gets everywhere and you can leave anything sweet loafing within reach if your not there! Wouldn't have them any other way!

Me and Lisa went for a hamburger down at the beach :

edit- actually on second thoughts I'm going to remove that as it probably goes a bit too close to identifying exactly where I live.

They can be strong willed! Outside of the working environment, I've known a few that have a tendency on fixing on something they've decided they want to do and it's not easy to draw their attention to anything else (commands or otherwise).

A good answer turned out to be 2 or 3 hours of exercise. However, it was difficult with a rescue one as one if the things it had fixed it's mind on was a solo tour of the United Kingdom wink

A few pics of my funny-looking Shar-Pei Mastiff cross we rescued six months ago. This was from yesterday. She loves chasing and playing with spaniels.
