I agree Harry is gorgeous. Can definitely see some staffie there smile
Get him DNA tested to see what he is. We did that with our rescue mongrel staffie Lucy.

Quite an interesting result. She was quite a mish-mash
We'd seen that it is possible to get them DNA tested and have considered it, but we quite like not knowing too smile

His mum is a German Shepherd cross who arrived at the local rescue kennel heavily pregnant and had a litter of 14. She rejected them (very young herself) and so the litter was hand reared by the staff. 13 survived.

It's quite nice seeing all the others growing up on the Facebook page for the kennel. Quite a few have similar marking to Harry, there are a few tan and a couple of black, quite a varied bunch. biggrin

It certainly was. Bless her.

Just found a picture of Mum on the Facebook page.

You can see where the tan and black in the litter came from. As for the brindle, that must come from dad.

Ah, she looks a sweetie - and as you say, too young to be having pups frown

Correct, he's a 5 year old RR. Super breed, very stubborn and headstrong with some interesting traits ... for instance, leaning on guests in our house even when he's never met them which seems to be a common RR behavior that we guess is showing them their trust. Does worry a few people at first when they have over 9 stone of dog leaning on them.smile

Thanks REESE, these two are bang up to date pics...taken by OH just now at home in the garden

My reply to the second pic was "I know it's his Birthday, however he's a little young for a cigar...."
What a lovely boy he has become. Do you see any others of the litter?

Thank you.
Yes one of the other boys is local (unfortunately he has not been trained very well or socialised with other dogs) and I follow the girl of the litter's "master" on Instagram....she's doing great.

Some Photos of Eddie - our rottie cross, rescue from Dogs Trust in Leeds - he has been a fabulous addition to the family totally bonkers but adorable. Just had his ACL repaired and I can;t recommend Holly House vets in North Leeds highly enough.

a couple of pics as a youngster - still with his DT collar on. The ones in the car are when we were taking my step son to Uni and Eddie wanted to come with hehe

Mine loves being in the car.

He's just sat there waiting for me to take him for a drive...I was trying to clean the car out. hehe

He's going through his pre-race preparation. Imagining the start and the run down into the first corner.
