This is Neville, he's a standard wire hair Dachshund cross. He's a rescue and he's been with us for 3 weeks. Settling in very well, lovely little chap.

Everyone likes their own brand.

You never farted in the car and lifted a leg?

If it's a good one, do a little jump, result.

I'm having to drop off my 4 yr old Lab, Charlie, at the vets in the morning, as he's got an infected paw that responded to antibiotics, but as soon as they were finished, the infection came back again. So they will have to give him a general, open up the paw to see if there's anything embedded in there which might be causing the infection, and flush the crap out, and sew him up.

Although he's built like a tank - near 40kg - he's never been given an anaesthetic before, I'm a bit worried, a)generally, and b) in case they find anything other than an infection afternoon. Fingers crossed all goes well, and he'll be back with me by late afternoon, being spoiled with treats such as pilchards in tomato sauce - both my labs go apest for them. This pic was taken in 2011, but I do like it

if Dogs have such a wonderful sense of smell why don't they ever move away when they release the most toxic
and foul smelling odour.
Ours looks at us in disgust as if we did it & walks off.
My mums' previous EBT/Staffy cross was laying in front of the fire when she farted, normally a dogs fart is a quiet Pfffftt but this time it was more of a 'paarrp'

Alarmed at the rattling of her ringpiece the dog twisted and lunged at what ever it was that ailed her chocolate starfish...

Unfortunately her twisting motion compressed the remaining gasses in her gut resulting in a full blown, mega decibel PAARRRPP!!! The poor hound looked genuinely alarmed as she jumped up and ran away but we were far too busy laughing to offer any sympathy.

Best of luck for you both tomorrow I am sure everything will turn out just fine.

First time I have ever uploaded a photo on here. Meet Shaggydog, my mate's dog. He is a Lhaso-doodle. Love him to bits.
That is surely an Ewok and deserves to be on the Star Wars thread!

It's just pure coincidence he has muddy paws.

A busy day for Lottie.

4 mile walk, home, bath and sleep.

Then off to get her coat trimmed, home and sleep.
I bought some clippers - our Jackapoo is subject to an amateur trim in the summer wink

Ha ha I agree though he is named after a dire wolf from Game of Thrones!! That's him up begging for a piece of chocolate cake. He got a crumb.

Could you let me know how it goes (I have thought about trimming Lottie myself)?

Thanks smile
