I mean no offence to other Dog lovers but I love big Dogs Alfie and Archie are just georgeous. If I could get my own dog, I'd prefer a large one.

and then 5 months later
Bobby is our first Puppy still a rescue dog but our first puppy.
After getting over his awful tummy bugs his growth rate is staggering he is now taller at the shoulder than our two girls.
We actually got off pretty lightly, he demanded a lot of attention but he house trained very quickly and hardly destroyed anything. My sister's GSD puppy ate the kitchen flooring...

Ours was also our first puppy. My family had GSDs when I was growing up, but the first one was a puppy when I was 7 years old and the second one came along while I was at university, so I didn't remember quite how much work a puppy is...

As you can see from the first picture he was Tiny and had a gut full of nasty viruses thanks to the appalling way he had been treated. We actually got off pretty lightly, he demanded a lot of attention but he house trained very quickly and hardly destroyed anything. Somehow he managed to tell us every two hours he needed to go out and it did fire out but hever made a mess once and it is all down to him nothing to do with us.
He demands attention and if you dont manage his energy levels he lets you know it.
Thes elast few weeks i have been in the Garden all day and he has loved every minute of it.
We have been blessed with our Dogs but this little fella is very special to us

Lovely dogs What breed/mix is Archie, do you know? He's a stunner!
he is a sweetieA real sweetie and he knows it...real attention seeker, wants to be everybody's' friend, cows, horses, other dogs and people...all the same to him.
Never heard of Leonbergers before we got him but from what I have read he has all the best bits from both breeds but about 40kg and not the 80kg of a pure Leonberger.
