Our boy Bruno, from the dogs trust a few weeks ago smile

What a lovely looking lad he is, appears quite young?
He does look young, I think that pic makes him look younger than he is though. He's 5 apparently.

That COULD have been quite cool.
If it wasn't for those shades...

Barry is exhausted; he spent most of the morning and afternoon playing in the garden with Daisy and then he had a 5 mile walk when I got in from work:

Nothing more satifying than seeing a Dog tired from doing what Dogs love to do.
My boy is still on restricted walks being just 7 months old even though its tempting to just keep going once we get out.

Barry is not quite 6 months old, we are aware that the guidelines say 5 minutes for every month until fully grown but he would go stir crazy; anyway he seems to cope fine and they are only "guidelines"!

I sort of, loosely, stuck to the guidelines.
But my sized dog can do 40/50 mile a day easily, so the odd 4/5/6 mile wander wasn't going to do any damage.
But I made a point of making sure he wasn't ran for a decent distance until he was well past 18 months/2 years old.

The Terrier naughty step.

Not that either of them had been naughty. That's just the reaction to being told what to do.

I tend to think of a Wolf and I doubt they restrict themselves. I think a walk on a lead is ok maybe not ok if the Dog is off the lead.
He plays in the Garden for a couple of hours with my other dogs but then i put him in his cage and he has a couple of hours sleep. We do about 45 mins walk in the evening and he sleeps as soon as he gets back in
