Yep!! That's the one! I'll try and find a vid.

In the meantime....

Dad, take the cover off the car and let's go to Le Mans!!!!

He's looking good. How is he now? Louis is still nuts but doesn't jump at people and recall is damn good. He is 20 months now though!

If you're on facebook, join this group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/HungarianVizslaClu...

It's nice to see other Vizsla's are as nuts as yours/everyones!
Apologies IM - missed this

He's 18 months old tomorrow - born Christmas eve 2013

Monty is bonkers (in a good way) particularly when he hasn't had exercise/ mental stimulation but most of the time he's as good as gold. Gets terribly excited when people come around - great if they're dog people but if not, he needs to be kept out the way as he thinks everyone wants cuddles!!!!

He doesn't jump up too much as we've always been strict on that - although if people give him lots of fuss, he thinks it's fair game.

I'll join the FB group - be interesting.

We're loving the longer days at the moment - great evenings in the fields!!

How is Louis with water? Monty just can't get on with it! Walks around puddles, won't go out in heavy rain! It's quite strange to see!!

when about a year he'd go in anything wet, including the stagnant ponds at our usual walking spot. So we kept him away with treats etc and he's less fussed. But loves the sea, will come swimming with us!

My old chum Archie, a 13 year old chocolate Labrador.

He's not as agile as he was, his old bones seem to be a little stiff but he still enjoys his walks each day. I work from home, so around lunchtime each day we will go for a gentle stroll, stopping part way for a breather and to watch the world go by.

This photo was taken this afternoon

As I write this, he's snoring away by my feet.

Bless him.

My dear, dear Sonny was put to sleep yesterday. He was the most loving, kindest most adorable and sweetest dog I have ever owned. Never had a bad bone in his body and I (and his Lhasa sister) miss him terribly. You know its the right thing to do but its still hell. Poor boy was only 9 1/2.
fking Cushings. frown

Lovely dog and far too young to loose, I know how you must be feeling but as my vet said to me you put their feelings before your own as difficult as it is but it is the right decision.

Got any more photos of Sonny? He looked like a right cheeky little bugger.

Sorry for your loss. My boy is only 3, so hopefully with my lifestyle, he outlives me.

I find it too upsetting to comment on these things. Is rather pretend it doesn't happen. Being A bloke of few words I have no idea what to say anyway but I'm sure morning side realises we all know feel for his loss,

Nicely put Pesty.

Morningside, sorry to hear of your loss; it won't make it any easier but unfortunately many of us on here know just what you're going through and you have our deepest sympathies.

When I was a lad our first dog was a Cavalier; lovely friendly dogs as you rightly say. Feel free to post some pics of Sonny as a memorial of the happy times together.

Followed by attacking all the splashes she can make

Which part of the canal or river is that?

Think I walked past your place tonight if I remember you correctly saying you could see the yellow boat from your house. . If your dog went beserk at about 8pm it was cos Logan was barking at a springer.
We can't quite see the yellow boat (which isn't there currently). We're in Kirk Bramwith so not directly on the canal.

As to where the pics are, somewhere between Top Lane Bridge & the Aquaduct over the Don.

Thanks all. I know its hard to comment.

I am having a real st few months to be honest. Lost my wife to cancer and also both my dogs.

Here is Sonny with Poppy before she was stripped. Poppy is utterly lost now and just sleeps rather than being the bouncy girl that she is.

Sleepy time.

I don't always walk that far to top lane at Braithwaite isn't it.

Didn't recognise the trees by the edge. I walked at the way to the junction past sykehouse (spelling) the other day from barnby Dunn I was fked

Oh and yellow boat gone for good. But of controversy and resentment with the residents on the canal.
