We can't quite see the yellow boat (which isn't there currently). We're in Kirk Bramwith so not directly on the canal.

As to where the pics are, somewhere between Top Lane Bridge & the Aquaduct over the Don.
I don't always walk that far to top lane at Braithwaite isn't it.

Didn't recognise the trees by the edge. I walked at the way to the junction past sykehouse (spelling) the other day from barnby Dunn I was fked

Oh and yellow boat gone for good. But of controversy and resentment with the residents on the canal.
Yeah that's the place.

Thanks for the boat news, we didn't know why it'd gone but we did know the people seemed a bit odd.

Ot he was nice. I used to go there a lot, I walk up the canal 3 or 4 times a week and always stopped there for a cider.nshe was a bit funny.

It wasn't them though it was the other boat owners didn't want them there. They didn't like the extra foot fall of people visiting and got quite nasty. They got the canal board on them accused them of breaking their licence by offering cake or something. Would sail past with banners in their boats say leave and st like that. I often talked to the other owners when walking past there was a group of them once and I mentioned that the boat had gone. Jesus I've never seen polite people turn into nasty monsters so quick in my life. You would think it was pol pot and hitter who owned it.

Anyway sorry for ot.

Several miles this morning in beautiful warm sun

Rest and water stop - too much rolling in dead stuff. It's tiring. And smells.

Didn't take long for Locke to slip in to a Lab sun coma! She wants off again

Cookie spotted a deer. Such an amusing sight watching a Roe or Muntjac bound through the crops with the dog bounding after, just tiny heads popping up every now and then. Always a pointless exercise for my dog.

Thank you. I've been walking these two youngsters with my neighbour recently too - they'll all be walked together with mine occasionally soon. Should be lots of fun...it doesn't make him happy that they both fuss me more and tend to walk/nicely/do as their told with me...

Apparently the mum is labrador staff and the dad staff x American bulldog.

We know the mum well and she is much more staffy than labrador looking, she is all black. Haven't met the dad but the pic I saw I think he is mainly tan

Be interesting so see how she ends up looking !

Will get a pic of brandy and mum when we see them next ☺

All this time I never knew of this huge dog walking field just down the road from my house. Free poo bags by the entrance too smile

It took Milo a nano second to find the river. smile

Today is national Bring your Dog to Work day. Anyone else got their hounds helping them out? My collie is chasing a black lab around the board room table right now. If they sit still for 10 seconds, I'll try to take some pics.
