Post photos of your dogs vol2

Wife just sent me some pictures of our fantastic girl,
she's taken to the habit of waiting at the door for me to come home , normally when I arrive no one can get near me as she goes bonkers wanting attention , She literally follows me around the house and sleeps under the bed
unfortunately I've been away in Iraq since May and she's very confused especially when she hears me on Skype . Very difficult being away from pets and family ,looking forward to coming back next month and spending long walks with her in the forest
Cheers

Bluedot, I am not sure what to say that will bring any comfort, but am in no doubt how much Pickles brought and continues (memories) to bring to your life.

So sorry. It is hard as Cavaliers are the most wonderful, loveable, loyal dogs I know. Had two of them with my dear Sonny being PTS less than a month ago, he was only 9. Bloody Cushings! What I think is a shame about Cavaliers is that they seem to be the most unhealthy breed, heart, back, breathing, brain problems but their sweet nature makes up for it.
I know what you mean missing them. Although I have another dog (Lhasa) the place seems so empty with only one. I would dearly love another but have said "yes" to a Yorkie so at least I will be giving a rescue a home.
I am sure your new bundle will bring many happy years and although they are NEVER the same it does help fill that hole.
Thanks for the comments guys and so sorry to hear about Sonny being PTS less than a month ago. Cavaliers are a fantastic breed, we couldn't have wished for a more chilled out laid back dog that fitted in with our lifestyle perfectly. His snoring (caused by breathing through the nose issues!) was a constant cause of bemusement for people that hadn't heard it before, he was banned from the lounge while Downton was on so Mrs Bluedot could get to hear what was being said I know what you mean missing them. Although I have another dog (Lhasa) the place seems so empty with only one. I would dearly love another but have said "yes" to a Yorkie so at least I will be giving a rescue a home.

He'll be fondly remembered that's for sure.
Quick thanks again to the fresh set of pics that have been posted this weekend, they never fail to bring a smile to our faces.

Ok I am mostly a larger, some might say proper dog fan with a black lab and collie in the family already both of which I have posted pics of in this thread. For the next 2 weeks we are looking after a friends 1 year old minature terrier/handbag dog named Eddie and after 24 hours and 1 sleepless night I have to admit I am quite smitten with him
This proves that it's the character that counts not the breed size Edited by bexVN on Friday 17th July 19:41
My mum has a Yorkie cross, she definitely thinks she is a big dog. Quite funny to she her tell off our Staffy & the GSD cross that often visits their house.
