After a long time stalking other people's dogs we have our own, meet Floyd at 8 weeks.

It's been a week now, he'll stop being naughty soon won't he?
I'm still waiting for ours to stop being naughty.. Theyre now a year old.

So they say.

I'm hoping that the Border Collie half of him tempers the beagle a little.

Dogs first trip out in my new day off/ weekend toy (mk1 MX5) with the roof down, they loved it and were having a snooze in the breeze/sun after a few mins!

Great photo.

It is good fun to have the dog(s) on board with the roof down.
It was great. They will only be going in the Mazda when my Mrs comes on walks with us (usually weekends) and its a nice day. They both would try climbing over to me if they werent on the good ladies lap!

This, 1000% wink

When the beagle half of ours takes over NOTHING will get her back.

Not quite sure how MX5s are setup, but my old JRT used to sit on the shelf behind the seats when I had a MG Midget. He had a harness secured in the boot and a small amount of slack. His favourite position was stood up with feet on the back of the seats, looking over the windscreen. I'm sure he used to read the road as he'd lean into corners before I got to them laugh

Lost our best girl on Thursday.
We only rescued her from Cyprus in January.
She was a dog in a billion and I've spent the past 2 nights in tears unable to sleep.
I'd genuinely give anything and everything I have to have her back.
Her life was cut tragically short, she deserved to live a long, long time yet.

Love her with all my heart and the pain is as close to unbearable as I can imagine.

With her brother -

He wouldn't eat until she had, and so hasn't eaten properly since Thursday morning.
I'm going to try him with some Tuna in sunflower oil this morning.

I'd greatly appreciate it if someone with better computer skills than I could turn my photos around please.
(Third picture and first two with her brother please).

Thanks in advance, Stuart.

She looked a lovely dog.

It is really ok to feel like that TLJ. They are family (sometimes more so than human relations) and ignore anyone who tells you different. Folks on this forum really understand that too.

Hope you and your boy will be ok.

Thanks.
I'm at that awful stage where everything I see/say/do reminds me of her.
Just collected my Range Rover from work and the last time I used it I was getting rid of garden waste with her sat next to me in the passenger seat.
So her hair is everywhere frown Instant tears... Lol.
I'd honestly give every single possession, cars, motorbikes, house, everything, to have her back.
She didn't deserve to die so soon and the way she did, she deserved another 10 years.
Unbearable grief.

I'm so, so, sorry. I have been where you are, and know that no words are of any comfort at the moment frown

Please be kind to yourself and give yourself time to grieve.

A perfect day for some roof down shenanigans with Lottie and a fantastic walk up The Wrekin:

At our local she made a new friend (4 year old Sid), well she seemed more interested in him than the other way round:
