Thanks, the middle one works as a gun dog so she knows her job. The cocker is still only a pup and is a bit too immature (keen and vocal) so will be going on his first shoots this year but wont be working as such. The other springer is our crippley rescue. She doesn't get to run that often as she has dodgy front leg joints/bones. She goes lame really easily but she seems to cope with the softness of the beach better. Her main role in life is as sofa dog and as such she doesn't really have a clue what day of the week it is let alone what she "should" be doing. She just runs round following the other two in la la land. All fantastic in their own ways!

Our little pack is gaining another member. Our first boxer has been diagnosed with Juvenile Kidney disease so will have a very limited lifespan. We re-homed our second last year and our feelings are that we need another to lessen the impact when Bella eventually goes.

So Kismet (Kizzy) comes next month. Fearsome little thing.

To join the troublesome partners in crime.

In my eyes you cant beat terriers! They are proper characters and although mine drive me to the point of insanity sometimes, i would not be without their cheeky personalitys!

It's only three years ago that I said I wouldn't have another dog, Bob the terrier was a hard act to follow. Fortunately other plans were made for me. First Ted a failed gun-dog in need of a home, then Toby a pup that someone couldn't cope with. Now Bess and Bernice, a long story but Ted is probably their father.

In order, Toby, Bess, Ted, Bernice, transfixed by a tray of cooked sausages on top of the stove opposite them.

Bess and Bernice with their brother and sister (Horace and Misha). It did get a bit hectic, so the big boys got shut out of the kitchen.

I'm definitely not having any more dogs.
