I like that.
Used to be my username on here for that exact reason! My dogs both do it.

As you can see; Daisy isn't quite as white as she normally is:

We have spent the last couple of hours at the vets; Daisy ate 2 Ibuprofen tablets.

Ibuprofen can be deadly for dogs, fortunately she didn't take enough to possibly cause renal failure but she had enough to potentially cause gut and liver issues, so off to the out of hours vets we went. She was given something to make her sick and fed liquid charcoal; hence why she is a bit grey, the vet and nurse were covered in it and they had to give Daisy a bath, she had another injection to help her gut (£110 alone for that) and we have now got 16 days worth of tablets and are now £320 lighter!

Hope Daisy gets well soon smile

Not sure what was in the jab but her head seems to have grown whilst her body has shrunk, the effects should wear off soon though wink

Did he leave you a present on the floor by the back door?

No. Some scroaty fker broke into the shed. He woke and went mental just in time to scare them off. They emptied a ton of crap out of the shed to get my mountain bike out then left it against the fence on the other side of the garden I looked out the window but no security light was on. They had twisted the sensor around the one higher up stopped working a while ago I get that sorted this weekend.

He did it ages ago and it was a hedgehog so was telling him to shut up bike cost 1k so he has earned a few treats.

Tried to find some old dog pics that I know have, but failed sadly.

Anyway, heres some of my dog history.Pretty much always had a dog or two in my life as I was brought up with them.

My own first dog, a mongrel that came off the Welsh hill farm I was working at in 82.

Hence - TAFFY...

A few years past, and I ended up with my own place and a bit moree settled so we got an oldish rescue from Watford.
He become very protective of me and hated other dogs violently, so never got to run free sadly.

Jake, unknown breed mix....

After Jake died we went a few more years sans dog, but then ended up on the Smooth fox terrier path - which you have all seen.

I did , however, find some puppy pics of Milo I had forgotten about, so couldnt not share these :

Mrst7's first ever own puppy....

And, finally, a sad picture. For some reason Ive kept the collars of the dogs Ive lost. I didnt have Taffs as only wore a collar when on lead.

The house feels very empty these days, but we are going to resist the urge for a good long while I think. Its time for us to focus on doing the things our hounds have prevented us doing over the last decade or so.

I really hope she does ok,did they make her sick quickly after she ate them. I assume she was put onto I/v fluids, they should also have done a blood test for baseline parameters and follow up with another blood sample 2-3 days after. I'm sure all will be well bless her little grey face!

My dog ate ibuprofen caused me no end of worry!! He was all good luckily smile

Ours ate 2 ibuprofen when she wasn't much more than 6 months old. She had a similar treatment to Daisy and is now a healthy 3.5 year old smile Luckily we live really close to our vets so they were treating her within 20 minutes of it happening.

Lovely photos of Milo as a puppy.
Strange how we hang onto things our dogs had. I have Holly's collar/lead and her coat. I cannot part with them, she was to me a great companion as Milo was to you. It will be 1 year on the 19th since I lost her and I still feel sad in spite of all the happiness she gave me.

Nothing strange there mate. I still have Henry's collar, is a small comfort, keeps them close. Be proud of being a good daddy to them.

Frenchies do it with their whole body flat to the ground, front legs forwards as if they are being Superman; Frog dog:

Our mini bull terrier used to lay like that and then drag herself across the carpet with her front legs, earning herself the title of stealth dog.
My staffy does it all the time too
