Why the frown Turn7? Have you lost a pooch recently?

Blue was our first thought. yes

It's so bloody difficult coming up with a name that everyone likes.

In other news, 'Swingball revenge' laugh

hehe Devil? smile
He's beautiful, what is he, a Rott cross of some sort? Sorry if it's been mentioned already!
He is an Appenzeller Sennenhund, Rottweiler, Elephant, Lion cross, I think. biggrin

This morning he decided that chewing on an electric fence was a good idea, I don't think he'll try that again for a while. jester

That shall never fully go away, I still miss one I lost three years ago, but, many a rescue out there crying out for a home, the void can be plugged.

Turn7 will take another four legged friend in time I'm sure but we all have to work it out at our own pace and nobody can tell someone else when they should or shouldn't.It took me 6 months before I was ready and even after having Bryn it took me another 18 months before I truly bonded with him. I took the loss of our Jimmy very very hard and 3yrs on it still hurts like hell but I wouldn't be without Bryn and Mabel now. They will never fill Jimmy's shoes but they are creating their own smile.

Indeed, and that was not my intention, more a nudge - the rescue numbers out there really saddens me.

That's my daughter on the floor he sits where you sit always close by, she will have made a minute move and he's straight into "play now mode " in half a second he will be sprinting to the patio or back to I'll just sit here staring at her until she moves again.

We pick her up tomorrow.

usual sad story of an ex-racing greyhound, but she is apparently a very sweet girl.

Will post more pics when she is settled.

Mum and dad are on their second Greyhound rescue, great dogs. They are (usually) terribly food obsessed, and are stealers at any cost - last Sunday lunch mum went to get pudding, a flan on the kitchen work surface (for 6...) to just find an empty Pyrex dish! Be warned!

When I was a kid we had a (not pure) Lab', mum had left a cold roast chicken, covered with tinfoil on a Pyrex plate on back of worktop. Came back to find plate on floor.
