He was breathing fine but I honestly don't know how biggrin. Mabel asleep on top of Bryn (who is smaller)

Maybe thinking he actually doesn't feel so comfortable now!

Alfie had his first proper grooming session on Friday and came back looking like a proper Airedale. We had a bad experience with a groomer just before Xmas; who despite saying they knew how to groom an Airedale, hadn't a clue and gave Alfie an Ewok appearance.

We get stopped a lot when we are out by people enquiring what breed he is, as we don't get many Airedales around here!

Maybe a regional thing as quite often see them where I am. I had a wire haired fox terrier when I was a kid so always liked Airedales, Welsh terriers, etc.

Very much this. In fact look on it as your duty to those of us who can't have dogs for one reason or other and need other people to post pictures they can go awwww over biggrin

A sunny day, a quick walk with Barney, he shouldn't get too dirty today...

So far, so good..

2 minutes later... I give up..

10 minutes later, sitting in the mud, watching the ducks..

/\ Think yourself lucky

I'll try and get a copy the picture of my mums' white Staff where the dog looks like she's been dipped in chocolate milkshake...

Barney is gorgeous.

Next house is definitely going to have a dog shower and drying area/ shed or something.

These would be handy if there's one nearby. Australia, USA, Singapore (pic here) and even a few places in the UK have these.

We've taught him to expect a rub down with an old towel in the porch when we get back, he thinks its a good game, he lays on his back and lets us humans do all the work.

Still, he's very polite, always happy to shake hands when he meets a new friend (I cant confirm or deny a treat may have been involved in the making of this pic..)

I've seen a few good examples in the dog group I'm in on facebook so I've been saving photos for inspiration. Definitely a project for this year.
