At my parents house, they had a delivery and I thought I could recycle the box, so I made a house and Snoopy settled in.

It's his first place on the housing ladder, detached too.

Luxury. We used to have to get out of the lake at three o'clock in the morning, clean the lake, eat a handful of hot gravel, go to work at the mill every day for tuppence a month, come home, and Dad would beat us around the head and neck with a broken bottle, if we were LUCKY!

What Council tax band and energy rating is that? Good area and decent schools nearby?

Have been following this thread for several years now and can now post in it! Well sort of...

Meet Loki, he isn't our dog but we are regular borrowers on 'borrow my doggy' so we can part claim him!

He is a Norwegian Elkhound about around 18 months old. If you read about the breed, Loki is a prime example being 1. Food focussed 2. A bark machine when something odd is happening and 3. Fluffy and friendly once he meets you.

We started borrowing him before Christmas and when we came back from the holidays he had chubbed up a bit (we had to take his harness up a size) but we are working on getting him back down in weight.

Being more suited to winter climes he often gets back to his actual owners and lies down on the massive slate slab infront of the fire (assuming it's not lit) to cool off. He is also hilarious when it comes to water and mud (I guess you want to avoid that in arctic conditions) as he sort of daintily tip toes around trying not to get his paws dirty.

Here is during and after a recent 3 hour walk.

The puppies are all spoken for now, I wasn't sure and as I wasn't sure then I don't think it was right for me to agree to have one, oddly the wife doesn't seem to bothered so I think it was the right decision.

I'm more than happy with both Daisy and Barry and that is how I want it to remain.
