And I like the photo of Logan being second-in-command... and to see Lottie again.

Keep 'em coming.

My boy has grown a lot in the last few months since I rescued him from blue cross, didn't get to see his parents and don't know what he is crossed with, but I think he will be a big boy once he is fully grown, coming up to a year old now.

When I first got him

Today

His favourite place, on the sofa in conversatory when there is the slighting bit of sun.

Lost a battle with a car... Fortunately a glancing blow... Idiot step-son had got the extending dog lead too long, got a knot in it - and rather then wrapping the excess around his wrist, lost some control on a narrow path...

I hope he has a quick recovery, liking the bandage colour!

Sadly extending leads can be very dangerous and loss of control can happen quickly. Seen a few incidents involving them including an elderly dog getting run over by a van pulling away. The owner had started chatting and allowed the dog to potter unfortunately he walked in front of a parked van. The driver couldn't see the dog as he pulled away.
They can be lethal, both for dogs and owners! I've seen a dog run over on Reigate hill (fatal) due to one of those, the owner getting out of car and dropped it, dog bolted thinking something was chasing it as it clattered behind and it went straight out of the car park into the main road. Utterly heartbreaking frown

Hope your pup recovers quickly! smile
Fresh dressing today. Vet was not happy with the open wound. He's getting very good at 3 legged running...

I hope not as they both like to sit on my head

They are certainly very odd dogs.

Say hello to Cassie.

Probably Boxer cross Bull Terrier. Rescue so unknown history but about 4 years old and spent seven months in kennels.
Been with me for six weeks and shaping out to be a fine, if sometimes nervous, companion.

Loves walks and meeting other hounds - fine off lead with adequate recall.

Had no idea of this section...rarely venture outside of 'favourites'.

Anywho... This is Freya... Picked her up when she was just past the 8 week mark. Far too young but there's a story attached that's too long but it was either me or to a breeder to try to sell on.

Friend who's a professional photographer took the early photos...

These are my crappy phone pics...

Being very conscious about her weight and making sure she has lots of exercise means she's turning into a bit of bruiser. She's flipping strong for puppy and is as solid as rock on her legs... She hates hi-viz colours and barks like nutter at the contents and I would well believe that the Latin translation for Labrador is 'eats things they're not meant to'.

Her puppy training is coming along well. Can do the basics but has selective hearing, normally while clamped onto my hand/arm/foot.

She doesn't leave my side and loves water...especially the pond in the field at the back of my garden.

Completely tying, total burden, costs a fortune to run, absorbs time, energy and emotions.

And I would change a thing. smile
