Hi, i took it offline the other day when my internet connection died. I also thought they had abandoned the nest as i'd not seen any comings or goings for a few days.
Pleased to say i've just seen what i think is the female popping her head out. I'll get the cam back online later and let you know.

So it seems the robins have been active for a few days, I've just not seen them going in and out.
The camera has a motion detection built in, it's configured to take a snapshot every time movement is detected. I logged into the camera tonight to find hundreds of photo's on the sd card. The firs one was taken around about dawn this morn, The female I think is in the nest behind the boat and the male comes in to say good morning. The next one is just a random shot taken during the day.

The motion detector is sensitive enough to be triggered by a bee, bottom left of image. smile

Here's a video captured today. Judging by the size I think it's the female carrying eggs. http://youtu.be/82lxiWfo3BQ

Web cam should be up and running again http://cf4994.myfoscam.org:8090 Username Robin Password Robin

There are chicks in the nest and the parents have been busy going in and out with food (and taking away the poop)

Got plenty of captured video that i'll be uploading to youtube and i'll post the link when done.

switched to night mode now - very cool. You can actually see stuff easier at the moment than in daylight mode. Still not sure if there's more than 2 chicks, but the parents are certainly working hard!

Yesterday all the baby robins flew the nest! Think there were 5 chicks in total. I haven't seen the fledglings since flying off but both parents have been around feeding.

The last one to leave wasn't too sure about going, even going back to the nest for a kip for about an hour before finally flying off.

I've got hundreds and hundreds of video clips, These are just a few clips of the chicks venturing out the nest/flying off.

Good pics, cams and vids over the past month.

Robins always bring a smile to the face.

A reminder that Christmas will soon be here.
