This is Momo

He likes to hide in places around the house or garden, then jump out and munch on your feet and ankles. Or, in this case, appear from the top of the shed and bop me in the head as I'm going in to put my bike away.

Other than that, he's a very good boy. He reminds us when it gets dark and the chickens haven't been put away, he's always checking on his new baby human brother when he hears him cry, and tries to help at bathtime by walking the edge of the bath and knocking all the toys in.

As for naughty cat stories, the other night I was up in the study and I heard the cat coming up the stairs. He sounded very light on his feet for Momo. Poked his head round the door. Not Momo. Random black cat. Just walked around, sniffing stuff. Cool as you like. I chased him out, he had a quick bite of Momo's food on his way. Apparently him and Momo are friends now.

Or the time when my wife saw Momo lounging in the road out the front of the house. She shouted at him, but nothing, so she went outside, grabbed him, and brought him in. I was playing Forza at the time until the wife said, with urgency in her voice, "is Momo acting weird, do you think?"
I paused the game, looked up. "That's not Momo." I said.
It was just another random tabby cat. Nothing like the same build or colouring pattern as our cat. It was like cat racism. "They all look the same to me!"

This is Josie.

Josie likes to dash down the stairs in the morning just in front of you then stop dead and have a little stretch taking up an entire tread. This is especially dangerous in the winter when it is still pitch black.

This is Josie' brother, Carlito.

Carlito once decided to bring something into our bedroom that was still alive. So I got up at around 3am in the morning wearing only my boxers to remove whatever rodent I could hear scrabbling about under the bed. Turned out to be a rat.
He also likes to paw you in the face and purr really loudly whilst you are asleep to get some attention.

I had to get out of the car and physically remove a neighbour's cat from the driveway the other day, as I wished to reverse onto it and she showed no intention of moving. She's used to me moving her about, though, I have to remove her from the Elise pretty much every time I want to drive it.

I think Luis Suarez was Moglet in a previous life. He likes to bite things. So far as humans go it tends to be little 'love nips' unless you have pi*sed him off. The problem is he has a fetish for fuzzy bugs! got back after Saturday night away to carnage in the office - He had spent quite some time jumping up the wall at the white board and ripped the bugs off the board and chewed the eyes and antenna off them. He eats the bits he pulls off too as I found blue fluff and a pair of eyes in the turd box!! Not the first time he has done this – he hunts them down and systematically targets them so much so I think I will have to get a stock from work to keep him amused.

When he has finished playing with them we usually find them in his or Millies water bowl in the morning - wierd kitten!!

Whilst we are at it, climbing where he shouldn’t is another favourite.

My OH went away on business on the 22nd. Bob discovered last week (I hope) that he'd like to take a drink, at about 4am, from the pint glass of water that rests on the shelf on OH's side of the bed.

Here's a prime example of us being slaves to our feline overlords:

Instead of removing the glass, I have found myself putting a peg on the lip so that if I pick up the wrong glass to take a swig in the night, I'll poke my eye out. AND I've been conscientiously topping up the water before I turn out the light.

I really hope this is a new discovery for Bob. Otherwise my OH's been drinking cat-water. rofl

He can't get to my glass, it's on a high shelf where he can't reach it. Unless he takes a lesson from Jonesy above and starts tipping it on my head, in which case he'll be in the wheely-bin too!

I think from a quick googling that the BSH was used as one of the breeds to develop your Selkirk Rex so that would explain it?

Mine also loves to sleep on any clothes left laying around, resulting in a nice layer of white (why is is always white regardless of what colour they are?) hair, normally discovered 30 seconds before you have to walk out the door

Last night he brought in the SAME mouse 3 times. Eventually I had to lock the catflap to stop him going back out to track it. As soon as he was let out this morning he went right to where I let it go free at 2am.

Gummy, she also likes hiding & ambushing people, especially on the stairs! She ambushes our Westie when he goes out in the garden & sits on the fridge/freezer & bops my OH on the head when she goes past! Oh, she also sleeps on top of the (large!) budgie cage!

Very pretty cat! Brave having the budgie too, we used to have some fish and our cats would sit staring at them swimming around for hours. Every now and then one went missing, very suspicious as top was always on the tank !

Freya has a habit of 'back-chatting' you when she is being told off. She knows she is not allowed on the kitchen worktops so when we catch her a stern 'off' lets her know she needs to get down.

However, as soon as she knows she has been busted (even before we have told her to get off), she starts the 'back-chatting'; it sounds like a moody teenager! '...you can't tell me what to do, you are so not the boss of me, I'm going to run away, you don't love me anymore, whatevers...' = 'miaow, miaow, miaow, miaow, miaow, miaowmiaow, miaow, miaow, miaow, miaowmiaow...'

It is utterly hilarious and makes it tricky keep a straight face! hehe

Thinking about it, you've got quite a lot of glass on that dresser, it will be within her jumping range soon...

Heres another pic. The little bugger got into the cupboard under the stairs and helped himself to the bag of dry cat food, obviously the big hole that was open at the top wasnt good enough, now it has two holes..
