We have a white Frenchie, you can clearly see her pink skin through her fur around her muzzle and ears.

What is the view on here of people in the know, of Doggy suncream or sunblock, is it needed?

Thanks

I've wondered this too, especially ours likes to sunbathe so I've been putting some sunscreen on the pink bits just in case.

There is one called Petscreen spf23, it has been designed to be more lick resistant compared to our sunscreen. Unfortunately it appears to be unavailable at the mo frown (checked a coupole sites inc Amazon)

I don't know of any others.

Ive just ordered some Petkin stuff, SPF15, I did a bit of Googling and the general consensus was if your dog has exposed pink bits on their upper body and face area then you should use it and you should always use it on their underside where it tends to be bald if they like to lie on their backs out in the sun.

Kids and sensitive adult sunscreen is ok however there is an ingredient which is dangerous, which must be avoided, in the end I just decided to get a dog specific brand.

I've used normal human suncream before on my Boston Terrier, tiny amounts though. Should prob get some proper dog stuff though
