Oh no frown, always been a fear working in a vets, what to do if fire broke out. Protocol dictates you are supposed to concentrate on getting yourself out safe, reality is we'd all be rescuing the animals if we possibly could!!

Awful way for anyone to go, I hope they were overcome by smoke well before the fire.

Tragic. The fact it was deliberate is awful.

I understand plod have someone in custody. I hope his picture gets in the press soon enough.

Bex, I know damn well I'd be saving as many animals as possible.

Just waiting to hear if a local animal charity will need me to drive supplies to the shelter tomorrow

You just know he will get off scot-free, with some pathetic youth attendance order, a new xbox and a free holiday with his new social worker. The little s**t should be handed over to some per owners for his punishment.

Now at £230k and rising roughly £1K a minute. No amount of money will fix the suffering of the dogs that perished, but hopefully they can rebuild the place and re-home the remaining dogs in the meantime.

As others have said, lets hope the judge is a dog owner, if not i don't want to know how little punishment the scrote gets

He should have been locked in one of the kennels last night when they found him & left there for 'safekeeping'.

Plenty of nasty horrible evil people In jail or a YOI who happen to be dog lovers. And for those who aren't, it's a good excuse to be a bully for whatever reason.

Terrible event. Have been helping out and will do so again later today.

The dogs that survived gave been moved to the sister home, cheshire dogs home and Bleakholt another animal sanctuary in North Manchester. The donations are amazing and anyone in the area of Bleakholt, it's very near Ramsbottom but tucked away, they are always desperate for towels and blankets and these physical donations kick in quicker than cash. It all helps though.

Exactly. One really near the fire too, so he didn't suffer from the cold.

Looks like including gift aid that they are over £500k now.

Just have to hope someone sets fire to the scrotes cell while he's inside it.

Bulldog Rescue must have had a Bully in there. They at this time have no word as to whether He, Buster, survived. Meanwhile well done to the locals who ran into the site to rescue as many Dogs as they could.
