For what its worth I've just made a donation, I cant bear to think of the fear those poor animals must have faced, the horror the staff and the emergency services must have faced.

Why are humans so horrid? there is this evil streak in people that wants to kill things and cause others pain, this has outraged me, would love to meet the scum that did this rage

The bloke needs locking in a cage with a load of hungry Rottweilers.

Tragic news.

As a regular donor to Manchester/Cheshire Dogs Home and having adopted dogs from them i really feel for them.

Listening to the report on radio 2 about this now, it's very upsetting.

I've donated by txt this morning.

The poor staff members will never forget not being able to get in to help the dogs, I hope they get the help they will need in the coming weeks.

I feel no shame saying a wept when I heard about this and when I read this thread.

I simply cannot understand what anyone could get from doing this.

Run free and enjoy the sunshine and freedom over the bridge.

I am a bit disappointed by some of the comments on an other thread. One thing is for sure these poor Dogs did not choose to be homeless or to be in the home.
One good thing has come out of this and it is that there are good people in this world and the out pouring of emotions proves this to be the case.

The other thread in news and politcs is unreadable.

Shows ph in its true colours sadly. Some really, really low comments.

The amount of decency on PH lessens every single day.

Very soon I will be down to reading this and the photograpy/music fora only.

There are several well known tossers on the other thread.

They post vitriol to provoke a reaction.

Best ignored.

frownfrown Such an awful loss of so many dogs some who were ready to re home. It was great to hear how many wanted to help out. I can't imagine how the owner of the home feels.;(

Agreed, and I've not been here that long at all reallyfrown I like this forum though, especially the dog pictures; would love one but a failed effort a couple of years ago taught us, and my daughters, that you either commit fully, or fail.

Those poor dogs in Manchester though, who couldn't be saddened by that cry

PH will always be PH prats and all, However I still feel privileged to be part of this site.

Sadly there are those now who post knowing it will cause a reaction, but they are far outnumbered by those who post what they really feel.
