As per the title really, must be some great stories out there to share.

My working cocker tried following me down a vertical ladder onto a beach, made it two rungs then dropped about 10ft onto his chin - ouch!

OH's Westie went through the cat flap after the cat & ended up walking around with half the cat flap around his neck like a harness.

The budgie landed in my OH's cappucino, quickly renamed to flapuccino!

Over to you guys...

Girlfriends cat was cleaning himself, down there.

After a few seconds of doing so, he dropped wind, stopped cleaning, had a sniff and carried on cleaning.

A few seconds later, he let out the almightiest fart I've heard from an animal, into his own face. Clearly he wasn't expecting it, as it scared him so much that he bolted from the room faster than I'd ever seen him move.

Certainly was a unique cat haha

Tango is continually having a funny 5 mins.

The other night I heard a strange noise and found him rolling golf balls along my putting matt.
He often climbs in the shower only to remember he isnt a fan of wet feet.
He will come and watch you on the toilet. Push the door open and sit and watch you no2.
We has a taste for luke warm coffee.
If your in bed and there is an opening he will crawl in and check whats in there. He has nipped my feet before.

I always end up with at least 1 animal, often three when I take a dump!

Have a cat who sleeps on the windowsill. And falls off. Also the cat tree - sleeps on the top shelf, but sometimes falls off. And the arm of the sofa.....

My mums' previous bull terrier was having a doze when she, the bull terrier farted.

Normally a dog fart is a quiet pffftt but this was more of a PAARRRPPP!!

Now the dog wasn't used to having her ring-piece vibrated like this so she turned to see what was the cause of this anal agitation.

Unfortunately, upon turning to bite a chunk out of what ailed her arse she compressed all the latent farts in her bowels which caused the most incredible PAARRPPP!!! to unleash itself from her chocolate starfish.

The look of terror/shock/panic upon her face was priceless laugh

Just remembered the strangest thing he does.

My OH dads ashes are in our spare room on the windowsil looking into the woods behind our house.

Tango will often jump onto the units along the wall walk over and put both paws next to her dad and watch the world beside him. Also recently he has started meowing whenever he walks into the spare room. Like he is saying hello to her dad.

Im not one for mystics and all that BS but the cat seems to be.

Our greyhound likes a roll round on the sofa and on a couple of occasions will roll off the sofa straight onto the floor. Its not graceful.

He also likes to cuddle Mrs BakerStreet in the evenings and will stretch out a paw for comfort. The other night he stretched out a paw and then stood up. Unfortunately, he stood up on my OH's lady bits. Apparently it was quite painful. I was too busy laughing to care biggrin

One of our dogs gets so excited at meal time he does laps of the island in the kitchen before heading out to the utility.

My OH's Westie dances on his back legs with his front paws going crazy when you're preparing his dinner - God knows how he does it but it's still hilarious 6yrs on?!

Jazzy; our cat, has a habit of jumping from one work surface in the kitchen, over to the other just as someone walks past, so you end up with a cat launching themselves in to your side.

Pepper; our now departed cat, when she was getting old always seemed to clean herself right on the edge of somewhere; a table, chair, arm of the sofa etc, she frequently rolled off onto the floor.

What's funny with cats is that they come over all superior and clever, so when they screw up it is all the more hilarious.

Our cat does a mental full lap of the house after every sh!t, must be such a celebration to feel that bit lighter.

I live in a block of flats, on the first floor, officially, we are not allowed pets, but a couple of the flats have cats.
For the last 4 years a cat that belongs to our neighbours has been in part living with us.
She climbs a tree on the opposite side of the block, crosses the roof, climbs down the roof, and into our open bedroom window.
She spends many nights with us, asleep on the Sky box, presumably because it's warm.
Sadly the neighbours are moving away this weekend, so we will not see her anymore, and there is no prospect of replacing her, because we both work, and there is no way that we can train another cat to do this.

My dog used to love doing a head over heels roll as a pup, he did three in a row whilst holding an old towel and got himself into a right muddle.

My old boy was a brilliant dog, so funny. I used to do obedience and agility shows with him, twice I was in the middle of heelwork, he decided he needed a drink and pegged it back to the car where my mum was had a drink and legged it back before she could stop him.
He also stole food, but did it in a way where you wouldn't notice or put it down to family members. For instance left a plastic container with 2 scones in the car with my sleeping Grandma, he hopped over from the boot, opened the container took a scone, shut the container and hopped back to eat it. We would have blamed my Grandma who was losing her marbles at this stage, but the person in the car next to us saw it all and stayed to tell us about it. He could also remove cool box lids and replace and push the handle over to lock again.
Another trick if he thought we were being a long time and he was in the car on his own he would get into the drivers seat and bounce up and down on the horn.

A proper character

As a parting gift, I arrived home this evening to find the cat had been sick over the (now dead) Sky box.

Cheers for that.

My dog is so comical because he is so dumb.

I used to defend his intelligence, like a proud parent defending an underachieving child, the truth is though, there came a time when the big lovable st became indefensible.

It's hard to nail down one specific incident, but he will regularly walk into lampposts, fences, parked cars whilst looking across the road at something.

Twice my dog has been walking along a canal wall, and fallen in. Doesn't fill me with confidence for when we're walking along cliff tops.
