URGENT working cocker spaniel pups need rescue
Discussion
The wife and I went to have a look at a litter of WCS pups which were 7 months old and he hadn't sold any, as soon as we arrived the guy was outside and the place was a complete mess he looked like a mad professor which was enough to put anybody off, if it wasn't for the fact we had just traveled so far I would have given it a miss, but something drew me, Thank goodness we stayed the condition these pups were kept in was terrible, including 5 other dogs kept in cages in the dining room of the house that was like the hoarders from hell. The pups had only ever been walked on the lead so had never had a proper run and kept in a kitchen that was boarded off from the rest of the house with poo and p on all the newspaper.
The 1 puppy came through and was very cowering and shy but the 2nd just climbed onto all the piled up stuff and launched herself into my arms and gripped me so tight that was the one, but we have a dilemma what happens to the others ? he still hasnt sold any they are healthy but its the cramped conditions and the exercise issue, I do not agree with the RSPCA they are not concerned for the animals anymore its throwing money away at prosecutions, anybody here would like a WCS 7 month pup please let me know and I will give you the details
PS she has turned out to be a wonderful little girl and is very quick to learn, we got her home and let her off the lead in our field and she ran around like a mad thing but her legs were all over the place it was so funny but now after 10 days she is brilliant
please let me know what I should do about the others

The problem is as much as I have issues with the Rspca, I do believe you should still contact them. This needs some authority involvement (council aswell) as he will keep on doing it.
I can't help re the pups, local animal charities may be able to, one thing is for sure these pups should be removed not paid for though.

You really should contact the RSPCA despite your preconceptions. Otherwise guess what - the bloke will sell all of his ill treated pups, make a bit of cash, change nothing, and do it all again.
Letting the RSPCA know opens the door to this situation being resolved and the ongoing welfare needs of all of the dogs at the property met.
Matt.
