Just to revive this thread for a moment. I found Grey on the bottom of her cage this morning having died through the night frown

She hadn't shown any signs of being ill and my Daughter had been playing with her last weekend and Grey was loving it. She was 19 so did very well to manage so long smile

Rest in peace Grey the chinchilla.

Sorry for your loss. Probably will have just died of natural causes, they're known to live up to 20 years!
