Agree with OP - absolute scum, who don't deserve to be breathing.

Happier update here though http://www.itv.com/news/anglia/update/2014-10-23/d...

Typical staffie - loves everyone, despite what one b@stard did to him.

Sadly, if they do find the scum that did this, the punishment won't fit the crime.

I seriously do not understand what goes through the mind of some people. I'd really like to meet the person who did this;

Looks like a happy ending for this doggy.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-cambridgeshir...

The odds of that crossbow bolt missing everything must be quite slim. Let's hope he gets a nice home, he seems like a friendly chap.

Happy days. I'd say the vast majority of dogs are friendly. If you get a dog / cat / gold fish etc then you need to be prepared to face the task of looking after and caring for it. If you cannot, then give it away to someone / somewhere who can. Killing it / torturing it is sick, and people who that need to be removed from the gene pool.

Pet licensing should be introduced and regulated. While it wouldn't stop these things from happening (as in the case of the poor cat) at least the stty ttty owners would be easier to be held accountable for.
